What to Expect When You Visit St. Matthew's

We recognize that entering a new building and community can sometimes be a bit intimidating. We hope this information will make your experience more enjoyable and prepare you for joining us on Sunday! We are genuinely happy you are considering St. Matthew's, and are here to help your feel at home among us.

Parking: St. Matthew’s has a several parking areas:  A large parking lot near the main entrance; a small handicapped parking lot to your right as you turn into the driveway, and three visitor spaces closest to the main doors.

There are two entrances to St. Matthew’s: one up from the large parking lot and one close to the small handicapped parking area   When you enter the church doors, you will be greeted and given a bulletin for the service.  If you need to know where bathrooms are located, please ask the ushers and they will direct you.

Communion is offered every Sunday and Wednesday to those who desire to receive it.  Feel free to join us at the altar rail to receive communion or a blessing by simply crossing your arms across your chest.  If you’d like to stay in your pew while others go up, that is perfectly ok.  Following the Sunday services, a simple time of coffee and fellowship is available  where we can get to know you and one another better. It is also a time where you can get more information about what we offer and where you can get plugged in to our community and ministries.

Childcare is available during the Sunday morning service.  The usher can guide you to the room

Sunday School is scheduled 9:00 - 9:45 am  It is available for  Pre-K through High School grades.

Adult Sunday School classes are scheduled from 9:00 - 9:45 in the Education Building .  Traditional Bible Study is offered in one classroom and a book study/discussion group is held in the other

To those who have no church home we offer an invitation to join our worship, our programs and our fellowship.  We hope that you are moved to join us and our community.  Together, and with the love of Christ, we can make a difference in each other's lives and the lives of our neighbors.
