The Order of the Daughters of the King is an order for women who are communicants of the Episcopal Church, churches in communion with it, or churches in the historic episcopate but not in communion with it. Members undertake a Rule of Prayer and the Rule of Service. By reaffirmation of the promises made at Baptism and Confirmation, a Daughter pledges herself to a life-long program of prayer, service, and evangelism, dedicated to the spread of Christ's Kingdom and the strengthening of the spiritual life of her parish.
The Daughters continually pray for our parish, our clergy and staff, and our parish family. If an anonymous prayer is needed, our Prayer Box is available at all time in the church Narthex. The prayers are never read and are burned in the prayer garden and prayed over simultaneously. This is done every month after the Priest has blessed the prayers. Any prayer requests sent to us are kept confidential within our circle. The Daughters will remain faithful to our church and to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
